Craft Bug

i have seen so many great projects that others are creating (and finishing, something i am always jealous of!) and posting on their blogs. i sent my sewing machine out here so i would have it and fully intended on finishing a few projects. hasn't happened. i've barely looked at my poor neglected sewing machine. BUT, i am feeling it. that crafty bug. i just may be able to whip up a few cute things. i need something to help pass the time we have left. (24 days!) here's what i've found. LOVE this pillow that goingsewcrazy made. she used this tutorial from film in the fridge. and while you are there, check out her baby neopolitan zig zag quilt. so cute. love it, but would love it even more in boyish fabric. quincy is still a little young for these probably, but i will definitely make these sometime soon. and a cute bag to put them in! rag quilt alphabet tutorial here at happy together. quincy would love one of these. tutorial at grosgrain fabulous. i would have never come up with this! but susannah at art nest did. pin cushion rings! i think this would make a cute gift to send along with a pattern, or some fabric, or any other sewing/crafty themed gift. the link i found to get to her blog isn't working for me, but you can see her stuff here in her etsy shop. where should i begin????
