and Q and A had the time of their lives together, of course. they LOVE grandma's preschool room.
quincy and avery on thanksgiving day.
nic couldn't believe that at the thanksgiving dinner table we were drawing names for our christmas gift exchange. i think his comment was something like, "can i finish my turkey first?" we moved right onto our christmas traditions!last year, like we did when i was growing up, i gave quincy christmas pajamas on christmas eve. i know this is a lot of family's tradition. my friend katie and i were talking about how dumb that it that they only wear them a few times before the season is over. she mentioned the idea of doing it on thanksgiving night or the 1st of decemeber. i brought Q and W's christmas jammies to my moms and they wore them thanksgiving night. i have loved putting them in them and its nice they can wear them all month. i think we will stick with this tradition.
my mom got a cute gingerbread house for the girls to decorate.
it was a great thanksgiving. my mom worked so hard so that everything would be nice, and it was. what a fabulous meal we had! love you mom. we are thankful for you!
