the last weekend we were in virginia (yes, we are home now by the way!) amy helped me get quincy's quilt arranged and pinned. we made lots of changes, because you know i am never one that can follow a pattern exactly! SUCH a big help to have another eye looking at it. thanks amy! its all put together in my sewing room right now, and one (yes only one) square of the 35 is sewn and trimmed. it will be my late night project for the next little while. here is a sneak peek.
everyday this week i have been organizing and cleaning like a mad woman. i took about a dozen bags to DI yesterday and plan on doing another run this weekend. drawers, cupboards, toy bins, and closets are de-junked! bathrooms and kitchen got cleaned today. still on the list, laundry room, pool room closet, and storage room...i have been saving these for last for a reason. finally today, after 4 days of working, things are looking good over here.
my baby is getting too big.
we are in trouble if the bathroom door is not shut AT ALL TIMES. her beloved elmo was her latest victim. sick. he's in the washing machine as we speak.

LOVE the quilt...It will be SO darling when all finished!! LOVE Elmo in the toilet... that is a every day event at our house... LOVE all ur new posts!! Looks like u had a great time in Virginia!! Watch your phones...this little darling grabbed mine last weekend to see the picture of "Avereee" while I was doing my hair...a very close call as she walked to the potty with it!!!! Love her pony puffs hair style!

This is Jill: One minute under the arm being snuggled and the next chucked into the toilet--soooo funny. I loved it that you took the toilet picture. The quilt is beautiful! you are always so creative assembling the patterns and colors. We love all of you!!
