Little Monster

i took these videos of Q the other day and just loaded them on to my computer. they helped me remember that i really like her. (my favorite is when she chucks her bunny back into the stroller. and that after i asked her to say "grandma", she said "please". wrong timing, but we are working on saying "please".) as cute as my little girl is, she has been a little beast lately. she yells at me constantly. she fusses when she wants something. she yells "NO!" at us. she hit sean with a book this morning. and if all of that throughout the day is not bad enough, she has been waking up at least an hour earlier then her usual time, 2 hours early on tuesday! she is SO busy and crazy right now. runs everywhere, hates her carseat, hates her stroller. pulls everything out of the closet, cupboards, drawers, the fridge. puts everything in her mouth, especially if it's little. she is WEARING me out! and wearing my patience thin everyday. anyone else have a 14 month old who has recently turned into the hulk? PLEASE tell me this is normal and my sweet baby will be back in a day or two....jodee's comment was, "just wait, it gets worse." (my sis. who has a 2 1/2 year old that is adorable, but is a "spirited" little girl. :) ) Q's newest things: *twirling! she is good at it. the video doesn't do the trick justice. the girl needs a tutu. a yellow one. because i love her in yellow. *"surprise face" (my favorite) *all the actions to "popcorn popping"...i have yet to get her to do it for the camera. *says, "gabba", "brobie", "foofa", "plex", "toodie", and "moono". all the characters (except d.j. lance) from her favorite show, yo gabba gabba. (obviously she can't say them all correctly, but we know what she means!) * books. she's obsessed. all she wants to do all day is cart books around, thumb through them, point to a few recognizable objects, then trade it for another book. ALL DAY LONG. i get bored of looking at the same books, but i am glad she likes them. she is learning so much. we bought 2 new books at target yesterday. this one, and this one. *remember how a while back every time she said "ball" it was screamed? well, she has moved on and now is ecstatic about dogs. there are a lot of dogs in our apartment complex. whenever someone is out walking their dog, quincy YELLS, "DOG!!!". it is always a little startling for the owner, but sometimes they come over and her pet their dog. and she will usually bark back at the dog. writing this about all the cute things she has been doing, i guess she is not THAT big of a beast. haha, i say that because she is sound asleep in the other room! i love her so much. :)
