i can't help it! i am my mother's daughter. planning ahead WAY too soon. i started thinking about HaLLoWeeN weeks ago. how to decorate differently, what to write on the tombstones in our yard, what our costumes will be, what we will do that evening, and other things i wanted to do. i have some great ideas....but its AUGUST 16TH!!
then yesterday when jodee was over and i asked her, "how are you going to decorate your christmas tree this year?" and now today i have been looking online at ChRiStMaS decorations/paper/party and gift ideas.....again, AUGUST 16TH!
and mom, i did think a little about thanksgiving. remember these little cuties you bought last year? we have to remember to use them!

these are potterybarn thanksgiving turkey place-card holders. this is a weird ebay picture (all i could find), but they are really cute little birds in person!!
mom corrected me. thank goodness, because the squirrels are WAY cuter then the turkeys!! and with squirrels, we won't have decorations on the table of what our food used to look like. :)
