okay, i have to catch up. my mother's day was fabulous! sean was so sweet to me. the card he wrote me was so special and i know i will keep it forever. what a great sunday it was to take quincy to church for the first time. she looked ADORABLE! and i can't believe i didn't get any pictures of her full out fit. maybe i will just dress her in it again and stage a fake mother's day picture of the two of us. it was a busy day with church, (i had to teach in young women's and SURPRISE they asked me from the pulpit to come up and talk for a minute in sacrament meeting. mean, huh.) my mom, dad, jo, and avery came by, and then we went to jim and jill's for dinner. i drank a pepsi (which i NEVER do) on saturday night and couldn't go to sleep until around 3. so i hit a wall around 7:00 on sunday night. it was a good day though. full of people i love. i am so grateful i get to be quincy's mom. i love her so much and am having so much fun with her.
here's what i did while up 'till 3 a.m. quincy doesn't fit in most shoes and booties yet, and we couldn't take her to church without shoes! so i made some! i had tried to make some at jodee's earlier but they didn't fit. these worked okay, but i am still customizing a pattern for quincy. and don't you dare think i didn't make her another bow to match! :) i have made a ton of bows, shoes may be my new craft for a the next few weeks. (sorry these are lame excuses for pictures, i don't know why i took such bad ones, and NONE of her whole body!)
the pattern i used was the martha stewart one. i have wanted to do these for a while and rylee reminded me of how cute they were a few weeks ago. love them! and these by heather bailey, i may give them a whirl as well.
