that evening our family went to wyatt and courtney's house for a BBQ and smores. i ate more treats than i care to admit. we had so much fun! west had been sick, so we left a little early to get him in bed.
sunday was low key. quincy sent some balloons up in the sky to grandpa wayne. i had some kid friendly fireworks that we lit on sunday night before quincy went to bed. she had been just fine about fireworks on friday evening, but she did not enjoy the show on sunday!
monday evening jodee and rob had a really fun BBQ and party with a bouncy house and snowcones! but i didn't take any pictures. i hate that.
we had a great weekend. we are grateful for this country we live in and for our friends and family who are so much fun! thanks everyone, for all the partying!

looks like a great 4th! seeing pics of the hadlocks makes me miss everyone. can't wait to get up there and hang out next month! give your kiddos a squeeze for me. hope west feels better.
Love that Q was brave and held the carrot for the horse! So so glad that West is finally feeling better, really rough weekend for him. ( AND you...catch up on sleep!)
Jill:It looks like you had a great holiday! We didn't even remember it was July 4th until we were driving home from church and a restaurant in town with an American theme had a sign out that said, Happy 4th of July. New Zealand is a wonderful country but we still we miss the U.S. and the family of course.
