today we are remembering dad. we have gone out to the cemetery a few times already, but we are all going out together in a few hours. we have flowers and the girls have pinwheels to put out. mom ordered a bench instead of a traditional headstone. it looks really great and i love that we can go out there and sit for a while. i had forgotten how nice that cemetary is. it is out in the country, nothing else around. it's really beautiful and peaceful. the city lined the entrance of the cemetery with flags. i wish they left them up all summer!
i am grateful today for my family. i'm glad we are so close and have so much being fun together. happy memorial day!!!

there is probably not a cuter picture than that one with Q and your dad. glad you had a sweet holiday. lets do dinner next week. we have lots of planning to do!
