a while back i got a call to help out with a large fundraiser to be held on Saturday, May 15th. it's called "Mothers For Haiti". our group will raise money to get much needed food and and supplies to the Foyer de Sion orpahange that was so devastatingly effected by the january earthquake in Haiti. months have passed and the need for help is still so great! this event will include a yard sale, craft boutique, silent auction, bake sale, kids area, education on the cause and orphanage we are donating to, food and live music. if you would like to donate, or help out with , ANY of these areas please let me know!
*i am in charge of the silent auction and boutique. If you are (or know someone who is) a crafter, have a business, an etsy shop, or just a talent for making cute things please donate items to the boutique to be sold (baby items, vinyl lettering, home decor, blankets/quilts, jewelry, bags, paper goods, anything!). we will manage the sale of your items, so don't worry about manning a booth or anything. although we would love more volunteers! we encourage you to have tags or even business cards or a sign there with your items if you would like to advertise for free! if you are able to provide a service or donate a larger item please donate to our silent auction (hair service, photography session, gift certificates...). if you are wanting and willing to donate anything- we'll take 1 item or 100! whatever you can give- just contact me and i'll give you more info on deadlines and drop offs. THANK YOU for your willingness to help these children!
come have a good time at the event! this will also be a drop of area for our continued collection of formula, dry beans, rice and other needed items for the orphanage. everyone can contribute in some way. Please come and support our cause!

Hey Stacy! I look at your blog all the time!!!! So cute! Ya, we are going to Chicago, we leave this weekend, my husband had to finish up school:)Hope you are doing well, maybe we'll see ya sometime when we are in Utah. Are you doing the summer sales this year?
