sometimes i get so behind on my blog that i think it's easier to just quit blogging, rather than trying to catch up. lazy? yes. but because i know your little hearts would be shattered if i quit (right. i've seen the numbers, i know the mediocre popularity of my blog), i will sort of let you know all we've been up to.
*i had what felt like a full-time job for a week, getting families information from an adoption agency that is doing a lot of good for orphans in haiti. if you want to donate things needed (mostly formula and cloth diapers) in the foyer de sion orphanage, click here. this agency has planes going there this week and will continue to get supplies needed to the orphanage. also, my friend deborah's son is doing his eagle project by getting donations of new blankets and young children's books for this very same orphanage. my house is the UT county drop for him. these items will be on a plane in 2 weeks.
*quincy had her last music class of their semester. she graduated. :) on to toddler tunes 2! they sing songs, learn about rhythm and beats, play instruments like tambourines, drums, keyboard, castanets, triangle, bells, and sticks. for their last class families were invited. sean, my mom, and sean's sister amy came to quincy's class that day to watch. all the kids were a little "off". quincy was pouty and grumpy and even cried once. i was so sad. she is usually so good at all the moves, songs, and instruments...just too many extra people that day and not what the kids were all used to i guess. it was it was pretty funny. trust me, these are the highlights...i'll have to record her at home doing the things she has learned.
*jodee and i started a bunco group! our first bunco night was in january at my house and was a blast. we have such a fun group and i'm excited for it each month. bunco! p.s. jodee cheats i think. not sure if it's intentional, or if she just doesn't pay attention well enough. i'll keep you updated on the matter. ;)
*we went to dinner with Q's birth mom and her little girl. love them. we are lucky to have them, Q is lucky T is her birthmom.
*we had a week long trip planned this week. first to vegas, then on to phoenix. we had flights and rental cars booked, then the day before canceled and decided to drive. glad we did. thursday evening we made it to cedar city and quincy had a 103 degree fever. i ran into walmart and got some medicine for her. we sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes trying to decide what to do. we were so bummed but felt like it was best to just come home. quincy threw up on the way home and is still a very sick little girl. so sad. glad we didn't try to still make the trip. sad we didn't get to spent time with reece, rylee and kids, my grandparents and mom, and payce and gwen. hopefully we can plan it again soon.
*west continues to be the cutest, sweetest little boy in the history of the universe.
