Tourists

amy was here again this weekend. we love having her come! quincy absolutely loves her aunt amy. when she was leaving i said, "tell amy bye-bye she's gonna go home." quince said, "home." and leaned in and gave amy a huge hug and like 6 kisses! then came running to the door waving and said "bye-bye!!" when amy was walking out the door. we'll miss living close to amy when we're back home in utah. today we went into DC and saw some of the monuments. i think we picked the worst day of the summer to go for a walk! our car said it was 96 degrees, plus humidity. it was HOT! we dipped our feet in the world war II monument fountain to cool off. (no, you are not supposed to do that, but everyone else was! :) ) we saw the vietnam memorial, the lincoln memorial, the white house, the reflection pond, the washington monument, the WWII memorial, and iwo jima memorial. a few pictures of our afternoon courtesy of sean's phone:
