we are all ready for christmas at our house! i have almost all of my shopping done. the gifts are wrapped and gift tags made (one of my favorite things to do!), including stocking stuff and neighbor gifts! i have our decorations up, with the exception of a garland on the banister and christmas lights outside. here is what things are looking like.

mom and i found this super cute felt advent calendar in idaho at kings (you idahoans will appreciate that :)) for $2.99!! it has a little wood snowflake to put in the pockets each day, but i want to do something else, like a treat in each pocket or something. any ideas?
i am glad to have all of this done! i want to leave my house as little as possible in december, i am especially hoping to avoid walmart at all costs! i will just stay at home, nice and warm, without a cold, working on my 2 projects (i will post them in the next few weeks), listening to josh groban sing christmas songs, and smelling these, i am obsessed.
bath and body works has seen me twice this week. i got this evergreen (way better then their "tree" fragrance) in the home oil, and had to go back for the room spray too. LOVE it downstairs by the tree. the "winter" i had last year and loved it for upstairs. it is so christmasy and good! they were already out of the room spray, so i got the oil in it also.
anyone want to come over and sing christmas songs and drink hot chocolate with me???
