Made It

we made it here safe and sound monday night. quince did great on the first flight, she even took a nap for 45 minutes (and so did sean :) ). the second flight was a little rougher for her, but she had her own seat so that helped. i am always amazed at how well she travels. we are lucky. so we got to our place and i was nervous about what kind of a place it was. we had only seen a few pictures online and of course you never know how they are in real life. i was surprised. it was nicer and cleaner then i had expected. the carpet is clean (one thing i was most worried about), the bathrooms and kitchen are newly redone, and the closets are huge. nice. i will post pictures in a little bit. yesterday i had a list a mile long of things to go get. we went to walmart, babies r us, the dollar store, and safeway. i got everything on the list. i got things mostly put away and mostly organized. last night i wrote a whole new list! i think it will be like that for a few days. all of the stores we went to yesterday are within about 2 miles of us. we have a lot of things close by. it is beautiful here! there are thick, tall trees that line the streets. like a forest. the only problem is i can;t see anything! i am used to being able to see 4 blocks down state street! i always know whats coming up. here, we passed stores and would have to back track because they were hidden behind the trees! we are excited to be here and so far (2 days in :) ) we like being here.
