we had so much fun, as always, in idaho falls for the 4th of july. those of you who have been there for the festivities know that there's no place that compares! we loved hanging with family and seeing the burton's too. quincy loved them! dad did an excellent job on the music and message for the big melaleuca fireworks show- we are always so proud of him. it's such a big job and he does it so well.
emily gave us some extra earplug putty that she had put in her baby kate's ears. we are right under the fireworks and it is so loud! for some reason they didn't stay in very good, so we ended up wrapping quinc in a blanket to hold the earplugs in. sean fed her a bottle when the show started and she actually fell asleep for the rest of the show! after, i was holding her while we where waiting to be able to get out of the parking lot. i had her up on my shoulder and jodee goes, "oh, a fruit snack!" took it off quincy's back and popped it in her mouth. it was the earplug putty!!! we laughed so hard! i knew they had fallen out, but it was dark and i had no idea where they had gone. it was midnight by the time we got home and quincy went straight into bed.

and this is even after i had been working it out with peanut butter. so funny! i am sure it's not the last time we will have something like this happen with that hair of hers. she didn't even seem to mind, as long as she could play with the lid!
on saturday sean went fishing all day with nic and his friend matt. he had such a great time and i think fishing may be his new hobby. sunday we took a walk around the green belt by the falls and temple. it was a nice day. cooler then saturday with a breeze. perfect day to be out walking.
i love being in this town. it's just home to me. and mom and dad always show us a great time. thanks for having us! can't wait 'till next year. :)
