so i was watching a show the other day that was talking about the amount of garbage americans throw out. especially garbage that can be recycled. it was alarming!! and a good reminder to be more environmentally aware. so, to do my part i have decided to make 2 changes in the hadlock house.
ONE: recycle cans. sean and i are soda drinkers. don't judge. especially sean though. :) we always have at least 2 or 3 12 packs in the fridge. don't judge. (can you tell i think this is embarrassing? please don't remind me how bad soda is for me in your comments!) but i actually think it makes us great hosts too. i know a few who enjoy our beverage selection! but from now on, the empty cans go in a recycle bin!
TWO: since i go to the grocery store seemingly more often for just a few items, like formula usually, i am going to get one of these totes! so not to use as many plastic bags. which was one of the worst things the show talked about, actually. harmons, my favorite neighborhood grocer, even sells green totes there! look at harmon's, doing their part!
